I believe it’s garnet which is what’s considered best for polys to bring out their colors

I kept 3 Apollo sharks in a 90 gallon cichlid tank once. They stayed in the top 3rd of the water column. Awesome fish. They were around 8"-9" fully grown. Ate everything, flake, pellets, frozen, live food etc.

I’ve never kept those but I’ve been curious about them, any pics?

Those where cool, but i think i am staking with the hujeta but i have found a new species boulengerella pike very cool

It was 20 years ago. But I'm actually planning to order a few soon. Great fish that are active and will eat anything that is small enough. They frenzy
