Are aimara's the only wolves you have in there? I have a curipara and I've been debating on whether I wanna try throwing an aimara in with him. He's also living with 2 Indian goonches haha
I only have aimara in that tank, but I had kept mala and curupira with Aimara in the past with little to no issue. The mala was half the size of the Aimara. I can't put the mala in there, because of the apurensis. I lost one curupira, and sold one off a couple of years backAre aimara's the only wolves you have in there? Wow! Half the size?! I have a small intermedius around 5" that I've been debating putin with the curipara that's around 9". I say no. I wouldn't try something like that with my curu again anyway. Mine at 8inches was eating 4.5 inch fish whole, and trying 5 inch fish but I caught him in the act and saved the fish. At 10 inches he ate a 5 inch ery but didn't try my Mala who was 6 inches at that time. To me it depends how the weight of the fish is carried. If it's thick enough you'd be fine. If not he may see it as a meal. Mine ate the ery and had more space and ate the next day some more. He did it on a day that I skip feeding. If your fish is indeed a intermedius start a thread for it please, they are quite rare, also if it is one I wouldn't risk it. I'd slow on feedings with the curu and power feed the intermedius for a little to let him gain an inch or so and then try it.Wow! Half the size?! ****. Well I took the risk and tried it before I saw this and so far no problems. The size difference doesn't look as large as I thought it was so I think they'll be fineI say no. Let's not hi-jack this awesome thread lol, start a new one and show them and their progress as you grow them off. I'd love to see some pics. But I wish you good luck. And when my curu was 8 inches the Mala its with was 5. Both a lot skinnier than now.****. Well I took the risk and tried it before I saw this and so far no problems.
