Sorry for the loss. I remember reading a NANFA article on baby Bowfin, they all died within a few weeks because of tapeworms

these guys are really fragile at that size. next time, just wait for larger specimens to show themselves. i got mine at 4 inches, and hes built like a tank- invincible
