TRACK racing...anyone?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
omg Matt you would bring sharks to a race track. lol. Take some pictures or videos if you go!!

JT.- Thats a bummer it didnt work out with you schedule. Yeah I dont think I would really care for all those extra gadgets either. I used to work for Audi and I drove cars around for my drive and some of the stuff they put in newer cars, imo, is very excessive. I guess if your a guy and it gets the chicks then more power to you lol.

As for the handling that's good that it handles well and has stability control. RWD would be fun too... more options then with FWD, power wise anyways. Do you plan to do anything with it or have you already?

Ben- LOL I have all seasons =] Dont know if you watched my video, but where do you think that music is from ~_^

I still haven't seen 4th Stage (the last one).

I havent done anything to it right now and dont know if will.
Next year I might be moving to the UK so I think this one its staying stock. :irked:

That time I broke the CV joints racing an Audi jajaja

Yeah if you may be moving, best not to make the investment, sucks though. I am sure you can still have fun with it stock.

Ouch... that had to have sucked. Which Audi were you racing, or do you remember?

and Ben - I have it but I dont remember to much of it, been awhile. You should watch it though, I am sure its posted on the interwebs somewhere.

Not the first time we've had sharks at Homestead. I took pics last time (*cough* facebook *cough*), and I'm sure I'll post more this weekend.

Open track / road course FTW!!!! Screw straight line, too boring. Left and right is where it's at.

I'll be at Homestead in the pits this weekend with the boys from Roush Racing for the Grand Prix of Miami. We took the class last year...hoping for the same this year. Might have a shark at the track again, too. :)

Okay, I gotta chime in for us 1/4 mile guys. I love open track racing too, but straight line is not too boring:grinno:, you just weren't making enough horsepower. Everybody who's driven anything with some real power knows KEEPING it straight is the fun part.

Oh I had big hp/tq cars. My V6 Mustang was one of the first in the world to make over 600 rwhp. I've also had the big hp drag cars (lots of fox body Mustangs in my history). Not nearly as fun at open track has become - at least for me.

I dont dislike the 1/4 mile... I had fun when I raced on the drag strip. I am sure if I actually owned a fast car it would be more fun for me. However for me I have a history of lower hp vehicles and I personally find my challenge on trakcs/courses with lots of turns.

Nice shot of your, btw. Looks like fun!
