TRACK racing...anyone?

Oh I had big hp/tq cars. My V6 Mustang was one of the first in the world to make over 600 rwhp. I've also had the big hp drag cars (lots of fox body Mustangs in my history). Not nearly as fun at open track has become - at least for me.

Yeah, it's really fun. Truth be known, the day after I win the lottery, I'll set up my 72 Firebird for open track duty. (and hopefully get my vega into the low 8s!! .. I can dream right?)

Thanks. Pinks was a circus. They picked the same low 10's class as they had the previous 2 years here so I wasn't in the show but I got some good pics out of it. Car weighs 3800# with driver.

i love racing, u name it im there well not DRAG racing tho..im suck at it
i used to have DC2 R, was stolen when i live in san diego

I actually had fun drag racing when I did it. Its not that bad once you get the hang of launching and reducing your reaction times. =]

That sucks that your car got stolen, I feel for you on that one. I had another one before the one I own now and it was stolen right out of my front driveway =[

What do you drive now?

Everyone- Does anyone have time slips from any events? I ll see if I can post up mine from the strip if I can find them, I know there somewhere in the house.

what tracks do you guys have around in flordia? i know here in cali we have a couple but ive only raced on buttonwillow cause its close to home

Loads of them Sebring and the Homestead Miami Speedway are the two biggest. There are several in South FL alone. I live a few exits away from the Homestead track, so that's the one I hit up most often.
