Almost forgot -- transaction will not be completed until said husband carries your tank into my house :hitting:

Hmm.. I'd consider it.. I could use another guy around the house to help me out. Can he lift heavy things?

I don't need any more kids at this point, so you can keep them..

haha niiice bro
I wish i had a boat to sell for a fish tank. Or just money for a tank. lol

Honestly, i like that boat and would have kept it... but with gas prices going up, the value would have depreciated even more so good move!

it's like they say, one mans 'junk' is another man's treasure.

Not a fan of the faux marble finish,

Yeah, it's definitely not what I would have chosen had i built it. I have been having mixed feelings about it. It is kinda growing on me, which is a good thing because I have no intention on changing it. I have way too much to do all ready.

i don't have the time nor the desire for a boat anymore. There's an old saying; "the best kind of boat is a friend's boat." After owning a few, it's oh so true. Besides, i bought that years ago when I was single. Now I have a family and as the picture clearly shows, that's not any kind of a family boat.
The boat was in my way and frustrated me. Now I have a 220 gallon fish tank that's in my way and makes me happy. IMO, I couldn't have got a better trade. especially, for my garbage.

I got a 1957 modle v bottom aluminum boat.if i had space for another tank i might try your way of getting a tank..oh every rivet hole in the boat leaks its seen the gulf of mexico way tooooooo many times

I would make painting that 'marble' my very first job. Ifind when things grow on me I leave them and then one day it hits, I can't stand it and i go crazy trying to gett rid of it that very instant! Like the ugly outdoor setting I was given......

if you sold that boat, you could have bought 2-4 of those 220 gallon setups;)

being and avid fisherman i know what boats are worth. you have a 115 motor and a boat that looks in fairly good condition.

you could have gotten 3-4k or more off ebay.

oh well, somebody got a steal...

Nah, you would have to clean it, show it, advertise it, store it, answer questions about it, field phone calls, not to mention taxes and titling. Perhaps your time was worth more in the end, now you can spend it on preparing your new tank.

Anyway, everyone would have REALLY hated you if you got 2-4 220 gallon tanks!!! And where to put them? (I can keep one for you....)

Everything in the world is only worth what somebody is willing to pay for them.

Your used boat was worth a used tank, makes sense to me.

Keep us posted on what you do with it. You could easily just spray paint the whole thing black a cheap/easy out on the finish. As long as you use black it won't look bad, spray paint tends to look like crap with any color though. I used to have some old dressers that my gf painted black and they actually looked pretty nice.
