the trick with ANY com tank is to monitor and know when to step in
i had 7 x 12 inch ST which i moved out when i got a smaller aro when the aro got to 12inch i moved all the ST back in
1 out of the 7 started attacking the aro after 15 Min's of being placed back in the tank
only one thing for it in jail over night then sold the next day
aros jump all the time in the wild prob smashing their heads on all different things
have you got any picture of the pleco before you done the swap as it must have looked very impressive looking all yellow and unstressed for you to swap

Yes, a shame... but it was a shame to see my aro die..just dont wana take any risks with anything... im prety sure 5'' azuls should be fine with 5'' aro though..

Yeah I got 4 5'' azuls 4 5-6'' geo Abalios in my 300 for now... waiting on the aro so it can go in with them.. thinking if i should throw in my 5 3'' orinos in the 300 as well..but if all grow fullsize wouldnt my 300 be too dam small
i only ask if you have seen the pleco bright yellow because when i asked about this kind of pleco in the pleco forum when i was thinking of buying one ages ago i was told the don't stay yellow for long and turn the colour yours is now

my freinds ones were the color in this pic when he 1st got them but lost the color after a few months i was told its something to do with whats in the water in the wild much like the flash jurence
