so not true it usually works around 90% of the time.I starved my gar for 1 month and until now it only eats feeders.

Have you tried different pellets? I remember my baby aro always spit out one type of pellets but whenI tried another it ate it and loved it. I fed both 1 pellet at a time for a few days and it did the same. So I believe fish do have favorites and preference.

I've only tried the Hikari pellets, both the sinking gold and floating food sticks. Tries it then spits it out in disgust. I've given up ahhaha

Im trying to do the same, today i got foodsticks, stuffed them in mp, and my aro suprisingly doesnt feel like mp today. Mean while im just gonna feed foodsticks my sw. hopefully this will break him into just pellets without starving him too much.

I starved my 20cm green aro for a whole month. In that time he probably only consumed 5 hikari sticks. I was over it and started pumping him full of MP's again. He is loving it. I do not feed crickets and meal worms to him as i know he will choose these over MP's and will find it hard breaking its eating habits again.

I have tried the foodsticks stuffed into a MP. I managed to load up 4 sticks, and my green aro smashes it. Good trick when trying to introduce a new diet for your beloved pet.

My green has grown to over 30cm now
