it's harder to control the temp when you do that though and 3-4hours is along time to try to fiddle with water temps... I have a small 50watt heater that I use in the car... I have brought fish from 12 hours of driving in weather that was easily -40 at points with the fish in the unheated trunk with no problems with that setup![]()

Or.... put a sponge filter in their current tank to seed it and then use that in their travel container, I can't remember who it was that moved their fish across the states with this method.
