I'm planning a new trip to India..Anyway, India is the original home of snakeheads and I really want to take some snakehead species with me when I'm travelling back home.
Snakeheads are uncommon here and if you ever find a snakehead here, they'll probably be VERY expensive. Especially now when the price for them has reached a more expensive level.

1. Is it possible?
2. Do I need any type of license?
3. Otherwise how?
4. I alway travel with British Airways, is it possible for them to let me travel with a living fish in my bagpack ? lol
5. Post your advices

:)

Sorry I grouped this thread in wrong part of the forum, this thread should be in the snakehead forum.

Could any admin be helpful and move this thread to the snakehead part of the forum :D ?

First i'd find out if they are legal where you live then I'd find out if it's ok to export them from where you are going. They might have a ban on certain species there. Maybe your local customs agent could tell you some more details.

They're legal
and they will be allowed to be grown here , but I've also heard that they will be banned to import from 2010.

Ring customs is the best bet

the customs for BA ?

You will have to contact the customs dept. and also someone at British Airways to find out about bringing aboard and transporting fish.
