Hard to beat the gramma or the octopus...I got a brain coral once, which was pretty sweet. Other than that just your usual...no mantis yet. Ive been lucky.

cool . very pretty . how long is it ? ive reaed that it might be a good idea to put some acrylic down under the substrate on top of the bottom of tank glass, cause when they burrow they may try to smash the glass thinking it a rock or something . dunno . may be fine without it . there seems to be alot of people that are concerned with breakage by mantis and others that kinda arent too concerned and think its over-hyped . i think smithii isnt supposed to be a fierce smasher like a peacock but the biocube 8 glass seems kinda thin to me . wow you totally scored . what a pretty stomatopod . youd probably be lookin at $30-$50 at a store not including shipping for online purchase . you got this live rock at the lfs not online ?

He was in a piece of rock that a coral frag was on. I bought the $2 frag and ended with a mantis
