The oscar will be fine, hun. Salt can remove slime coat for a moment but it should be restored once the fish gains its composure after trying to adapt to the saline level. I observe that with my goldfish whenever I use salt to battle ich. They shed their slime coat but were able to restore it eventually.
Doesn't matter if table salt is iodized or not. Bottom line, as long as it is NaCl, it's fine.
