TREATMENT HELP NEEDED.

I just pulled this lice-like bug off of a recent wild caught ray. Haven't ever dealt with any thing like this before so wondering a few things:

1) Who has dealt with this before?
2) What treatment did you employ?
3) Were there any adverse effects to the treatment?

This thing is weird...

 
Don't think it is lice are there several? Do they attach them selfs to the Ray?
 
Looks like its a fish louse. Dimilin can be used for it. Safe for rays.

I have had them on my past rays. It is argulus (fish lice). They tend to attach to the bottom of ray's disc, and your rays will start pounding on the bottom of tank because of the irritation. I used dimilin per the recommended dosage, and all was cured in short order with no ill affects after treatment. You can purchase medicine on ebay.
