id say its very likely green sunny, but its too young to be 100% positive. so cichlid fiend, you're getting out of natives? what a shame...

its tomany rare cichlids out here to be feeding something i can go out and catch on a daily basis

They are in the order Perciformes...as are cichlids. Cichlids are in family Cichlidae, Sunfish are in the family Centrarchidae. The actual perch family is Percidae, perch and darters
 
Definitely, a sunfish, NOT a chiclid (No native sunfish are chiclids). Possible that its a green based purely on the fin shape, hard to positive ID without spine count and other identification tactics, unable to see in pic. Also in last pic appears to be white margins on the fins which also could indicate Green sunny. Although NOT a chiclid the green will hold its own in time with about any chiclid as for temperment.
 
Sunfish are not cichlids. The one pictured is almost certainly a green sunfish. None of the others are that long bodied with the green facial markings.
