I feel ya... I was asked not to return to a PetSmart because I was continually offering their customers advice that conflicted with what their 16 year old stoned employee was passing around...

I'm not saying all 16 year olds are morons... but this kid sure was...

Yeah.... giving advice to newbies in LFS has happened many many times. But being newbies they most times believe the LFS guy with so many tanks at his disposal and his wise, confident look (for money obviously)..... than me, whom they have just met.
That's why I tell them to read a lot on the internet as my last advice... and hopefully they stumble here or other actually knowledgeable places by chance.

In the OP's case, more than the money..... passing off convict as a trimac is unpardonable!
