Trimac in my 125

My wife doesn't like him at all, he's caused a lot of trouble in the tank in the dining room. I have a tank with bigger Vieja (Zonatus, Argentea), but this guy is just a whole extra level of mean. You can see the divider protecting a CL and a Royal.

He's about 7 inches long, getting very thick. I think I've had him about 4-6 months now. Growing VERY fast now.

yea he is. my first "wet pet".

My plan was to try to put him in my 540 Vieja Community -- ish --- tank. But I don't think I'm gonna risk that because getting him out of the 540 if he starts trouble is a big production. I'd have to remove all the lumber in the 540, set up the divider, and try to net him out, probably have to drain half the tank down, too.

I think he's gonna stay in the 125 until / if he outgrows it. Only problem is what to do with the clown and the Pleco in the 125 with him....

Here's an update on this guy. He's got a pretty poor attitude still. He's filling out, getting more girth, more muscular in his jaws and down his sides.

I have a smaller female in my 540, I'm considering netting her out and putting her in with him and a divider. I think he'll just go completely crazy, but I figure it's worth a try.
