Its not that I don't like the fish they just don't look like pure trimacs to me.
 
thats cool you are entitled to your opinion,i dont expect everyone to like my fish,to each his own. I was just pointing a fact that where the parents came from is the same as where yours came from(100% fact)and saying the are not pure is saying that the vendor is misleading people.

I was just saying they don't look like any trimac I have ever seen. 100% of my fish are from jeff rapps and they are all great. A while back I remember reading a thread about Jeff selling trimacs he bought from someone ending up being hybrids and the red tail fin just seems really strange to me.
 
well i dont know about anybody eles trimacs but i can tell u this MY wild caught pairs witch i have 4 pairs were collected by don conkel him self !!! in (Rio Naranja Mexico) lol so i saw that guy that has breeding trimacs sense the 90s well DON has been collection sense the 70s !! and has been taken all over the world to talk at seminars to teach people about cichlids ! so ima say DON knows best ! lol
 
Lets not let that discussion dominate this thread to much.

The whole debate of is it a Flowerhorn or a Pure Trimac is silly. It is easy to tell that all of the Trimacs shown in this thread are Pure. I have never seen a Flowerhorn look like the ones in this thread even marginally.
