The Crunch
Here we have a few pics of a fish at our lfs, labled as you can see in the pics as a flowerhorn, but i was wondering if it was actually a trimac as it looks uncannily like one? The colour is slightly yellower in real life, the pics were on my cellphone but you get the idea.. Then is a pic of our little guy we picked up yesterday at a different place which was labelled as a trimac but looks kinda like our old flowerhorn.. sorry about the reflection but you get a good idea of his markings, thanks for the help!

Both look like trimax , but with flowerhorns who knows cross a flowerhorn with a trimax what do you get? A flowerhorn that looks like a trimax LOL

Unfortunately for my fish obsession i live in australia so a flowerhorn or trimac of that size (i think it was about 9-10" ) would definately set u back that much.. I'm hoping ours is just trimac but probably not very likely, fingers crossed though!
I will try to get some better pics after todays water change... Stay tuned

If it's sold as a flowerhorn treat it as such.

I agree completely. If the seller says its a hybrid, there is no way except guessing, to say definitively that its a trimac, and thus it should be assumed to be a hybrid.
Color-wise, I think it looks like a Trimac, but its a guess :)
