Ya mine isn't that aggressive yet, what size do they start to get there temper? Hes 6" and swims with the SDs and the oscar without a problem. Its a 240gal so mybe the tank space is large enough. I have a deformed Grammode I added that has a tailfin damaged beyond repair, the most i see is the trimac chase him once in a while.

BTW very nice mac thing looks like a beast.

He was such a greedy eater, If I dropped in 20-30 pellets for the tank he would eat 1/2 of them. One day he just stopped eating, he must of gotten a load of pellets stuck in his stomach, I wasnt into treating the whole tank, & it was to complicated to get him out. By the time I got him out he lasted another week on meds, but couldnt pass them through. I got him at about 3" from TUIC, he grew to that size (around 11-13") in about a year.

Mine was in a large tank w/ 10-11 other large, but smaller then him cichlids. All he cared about was eating he didnt bother anyone to much. I dont think he would have tolerated another Trimac in there.

Here are some updated pics of my 6 inch female trimac shes getting bigger and meaner all the time...

I wish there was an easier way to tell Trimacs from FH's. I have been looking at mouth shape, color, and body shape to distinguish them. So far all of these trimacs all look really good. Some look more FH like, but its all good if they are what they are.

This is my 5" (now 6") female Trimac and a 2.5" FH. I just wanted to show everyone what each of mine look like. They are not in the same tank and never will be. The Trimac is in her own 55g and the FH, which was given to me as a "throw in" in a trade I made with a LFS, is in a 56g with a few other little guys. Both are very cool fish.
