lol so true i want to set up my 40 gal native tank for tropcial but then i couldnt have a native so im waiting for my friend to get his aquarium and im gunna give it to him and then im setting it up for tropcial for oscars and a rtc mabye a piranna or 2

I'd consider the tank size before you even try those fish you mentioned. RTC's in particular would be your biggest worry. Very few people can properly accommodate this fish, not to mention this fish has a gaping mouth and can eat anything even out of the ordinary.

id go with some shell dwelling chichlids like said before and mabey some bristlenose plecos

In a 20g I would just recommend a nice small fish community...a few Oto Cats, 6 Cories, a dozen Tetras...that's all. Keep it simple.
