Cant say I am no expert Mike and its your money but IMO they dont seem like anything too special. Don't get me wrong they are amazing rays in all aspects and show signs of BD traits but some of the pics of other black diamond we have seen look very much different. The one in the background now of the 5th pic looks quite impressive for blurry pic. Problem really lies in the fact these look quite young and if its a respected breeder they probably are real but the beauty these fish could hold is still another year or so away before knowing how nice they turn out. Your call kinda just my .02
If I remember correctly a few pics of BD pups the 2nd pic looks right. the first pic looks a lot like your "predator" leo I think but no idea what the belly looks like
its just hard for me to believe they are pure leo when their underside looks the same as my leo/hens.

Thanks for the imput Mike your now on my CRAP LIST lol Yes the problem is there only a few months old and it is very hard to tell what they will look like when adults. You can see one of the parents in the background and that ray is unbelievable looking and is for sure BD. I will ask permission to post the parents from the owner.

if so... why would they have to lie about it, they clearly have some BD and i see the charactoristics as you stated, I would say they are, and its just hard to tell because they are so young, if you are interested in getting them i would say do it and see if you can get a garantee on them in the future

Mike, first of all im not telling you not to buy the rays by any means, they are beautiful. But I want you to consider something..
When I saw the first pic first thing came to mind was a pic I just took moving my female leo.

I dont think that ray looks that much better than what you are already producing, certainly not worth BD $. Dont buy into the hype.

Now that I look the second pic looks like it has the HUGE spots that will always stay big even as it grows. How big is that ray? They look great, just my opinion bro..

Here is a picture of another leo offered that has one BD parent and regular high qaulity leo as other parent you can cleary see difference between the two types of pups this one is over a year old and not anywere near as nice as the first pups. The reason some of my pups look so good is the male breeders I have very much look like blackdiamond but they do not have three outer rows or belly spots. I am trying to get something into the USA that is impossible to find outside of Japan and Taiwan. I had to wait almost 2 years to even get offered these pups lol so hard for me to turn them down. I send some pictures to some experts and will see what they have to say. Were is Frank, Stefan and some other ray keepers when you need them?
