There is NO debate. These eels ARE freshwater. The owner of this site has been keeping them for years in FW.
Get out your checkbook, they are NOT common, easy to find, or cheap. But they're out there. Best bet is to contact Wes aka Fugupuff. He's a vendor here (Rare fish).
Hmmm... I dunno about it then :/ I like this hobby but not enough to go bankrupt for a fish I can't breed and make money off of. Ill keep my high dollars for snakes.

IF a Polyuranadon is going to cause you bankruptcy then it might be wise to stick to your high dollar money making snake operation, cause keeping fish in general usually results in a loss.

While polyurandon can be expensive it surely wont break you or bankrupt you. They are a very nice looking species and I am currently looking to get one.
