I saw this on the news last night before turning in and I was thoroughly disgusted but pleased to learn that most of the troglodytes involved have been arrested....thanks in part to their beloved social media.
Philly's got a lot going on ;the soda tax in here was pushed by our weirdo mayor Kenney but the funny thing about it is a few years ago before he was mayor he was a member of City Council and he and other members shot the idea down when the previous mayor proposed the idea....now that he is in office,it is his baby....A few days ago a teenaged girl slapped a female police officer knocking her eyeglasses off of her face.The officer took the girl down to the ground and used hand strikes....now,the district attorney and the head of the police officer's union are in a war of words due to the D.A. dropping assault charges on the teen.....Things are bad all over the place with no change in sight.

I fully support between 3-5 good hard strikes from any officer after being struck at least once, especially in the face lol. I'll find it when I get home from work.

D.A 's are horrible people.... i had one threate me last year said she was gonna subpoena me.... told her give it your best shot baby. Glad the union is sticking by its officer though.

Oh my gosh,the same D.A. headhunts us too man and the police union is very strong.I think the public war of words is going to get very interesting in days to come.

We got wind that the bronx DA was no longer going to try assault on staff cases... a month later a one paragraph article was released confirming it. A few months before this i got slapped with a law suit. DA was all confrontational basically not taking our side...about 8 months later the same guy suing me murder trial starts up and all of a sudden the same DA is now on our side and trying to use his alegations and law suit as leverage against him for the murder trial... i was like screw you tell your story walking.

Good for you! I can see something like that coming here as well especially now that our weirdo mayor has appointed a social worker as our commissioner.

Can you imagine the outrage if a mayor tried to place such a person in charge of a police department? They may not always appoint from within but at least the incoming commish has come up through the ranks somewhere.
