lol "cichlid" that makes me laugh so hard. If I were you try to breed it with either V. Hartwegi or a V. Zonata. And most likely it will breed with its own species and there's a good logical answer to what it could be.

It will breed with what ever it feels like regardless of what species it is.
 
It looks like vieja argentea mixed with something to me, but that's probably because it's a vieja I don't know about.

The chances of it breeding with its own species is more likely then it breeding with any other species..... my point exactly.
 
i think its a really old hartwegi that lost its color in time
 
I can't even find diagnostic criteria for hartwegi (paratheraps now I believe, not vieja, but whatever). It's not listed on CRC. Anyone know what it is?
