trying to breed convicts for live food lol

I would for sure take out all but one female(the largest is your best bet but not required) and just leave them be for about a week or so and let them get good and settled and soon you will wish you hadnt started breeding them because you will have more than your fish will eat lol

What temp do you have the water? Mine prefer as close to 80 as you can get.

temp is 80-82, and no trust me my fish will be able to easily eat them all before they get outta control lol... oscars, peacock bass, arowana, etc etc :)

ya i took out the two smaller cons, and left the larger ones in the 10g and added a flat rock hoping they will breed, oh and also dropped the temp down to 80ish maybe they like it cooler ?.... have to wait and see what happens then....

no i moved the smaller convicts into my 75g with other hoping the two that looked to be paired off would breed but no cigar, and ran into a issue with a beat up fish so needed to mve the convicts back to the 75g with everyone else so once this one guy heals up better maybe i can try again and we will see what happens
