You shouldn't need to worry too much with breeding convicts, they multiply like cockroaches.

cONVICTS GROW TO AROUND 4 INCHES. tHEY WILL BE SEXUALLY MATURE BETWEEN 2 TO 3 INCHES. tHEY ARE ONE OF THE EASIEST CICHLIDS TO BREED. wHEN READY FEED THEM BRINE SHRIMP, DO FREQUENT WATER CHANGES AND TEMPERATURE CHANGES. THIS WILL MOST LIKELY GET THEM TO SPAWN,ASSUMING YOU HAVE A PAIR. gOOD LUCK

u should read through the thread before u post... they already laied eggs and their sexually mature at alot smaller size then that!! the one that laided eggs is not even 2'' and i have like 3 pairs.. lol

just wait till the females start showing their red bellies, they will start breeding like mice as soon as they mature. Then just feeding a lot of meaty foods.

you should also read all the posts before u post lol... my convicts already laid eggs and ate them lol...
