Trying to save a Rhom......

*Sellers tank was horrid, water was cloudy, seller only did 25% water change 1 a month(so he says), and I felt bad for the juvie rhom that was in the trade.....:nilly:.

I guess you didn't really a rhom. Now he has a baby rhom to torture. You could have offered him $275 and took the other Rhom back to the store. (Just My Opinion).

Baby Rhom probably saying what did I do to that guy. LOL
 
I hear what you are saying :(but I he was apart of the deal and I gave him my word.
 
at least that baby rhom would feel better in a divided 40g breeder than a 10" rhom.
what I am concern about is the other big rhom he has, 11" or so I believe. he should really either upgrade the tank or sell it to someone who can provide a good home.
 
Agreed, sad part is that 11 inch rhom has a nasty heater burn on its side:nilly:. Monster but truely neglected.

The seller also has s gator of some sort in a small platic tub smaller then my laundry hamper filled with green water. Literally. I am not expert but I know it is not suppose to look green and smell.

A Bad chimple..What are you new to keeping Piranha ? it happens and EASILY can be fixed within a few Weeks , Ive seen Fish from sponsors show up like they just went through Hell and Back and you just seem to think you know it all.

I dont agree with the tanks he was keeping , but their is actual animal cruelty going on in this world and you seem to think you can just waste peoples time like that ? I just want you to know that in all my Years , this is a first.

If he was Throwing it at people and Putting Cigarette Burns all over it thats a different story... But Heater Burn ? are you a moron ? Plenty of Fish accidentally Bump against the heaters , it will heal... should You call the Humane Society If my Dog Scratches His arm off of his crate ?

If you dont have a sump , its kind of hard to avoid these things. they like the heat and sometimes get a little close. no reason to cry over spilt milk.

He gave you a deal , answered any and all of your questions , did everything you asked and you walked into his home And bought his Fish and Left yours. Hypocrite.

and about the Gator , sure perhaps it needed a cleaning but the algae isnt the worst thing that could happen. Green Water is an Algae Bloom giving it that appearence but it isnt harmful to the gator. You couldnt even tell us what kind of Gator it was , how do you know what it needs?

And By the way , post Pictures of Your FULLY CYCLED TANK when its done , next to a test kit so we can all see How PERFECT your paramaters really are.

Infact , what do you use to Test Your Water ? I want pictures of that 40 gallon Being Tested , Or infact make a video showing us how spot on Your tank is.
 
calling the humane society was not warranted.

if anything, i would have just told him what he was doing wrong.... and absolutely not would i have left one of my fish there.
