TUIC trimac update

if the eggs havent turned white yet is that a good sign or is it still too early. its been close to 18hrs since they were laid.

I have two just like them from TUIC.
I have mine seperated though.
I have heard that since they would be a forced pair the male might kill the female. Have you heard this?
How do yours get along?

mine have been living together in a 125g until last week. my male killed my female jag so i moved them in a 75g. the next day he had beat her up really bad so i put a divider in. 3 days later her tube dropped so i took the divider out and they had eggs the next day. if they hatch i will move them into a 110g long as soon as i can get rid of the flowerhorns that are in there. the fry wil be raised in a 20g long and then a 40g breeder.
Rico, I have bred Trimacs and I can tell you right now your probly going to have a spawn soon. Female in more rescent pictures is starting to display her breeding colors. When a female is ready to breed, she turns dark green with black bars with her eyes getting bright red.

good luck with the spawn what are you gunna do with the wrigglers if they survive? Feeders? or try and get credit at a pet store?
Here is another TUIC Trimac!! This guy belonged to a friend of mine. He was in a 600 + gallon tank in his den. He got to this size in under a year and a half. He was 3" when purchased from Jeff. Happen to have my camera in the car when I visited and took some pics. Fish was about 16" TL at the time of the pics. The crazy thing was how thick this guy really was, almost three inches accross the face. Real beast!!
