So I am looking at turbo kits and super charger kits for my g35. It seems to me the prices on both turbo and super chargers are slightly the same. They both have their own differences. What would you recommend?

i think turbos better super charger stays on but turbo only turns on when you push the petal so in like way it saves power

I talked to my cousin and he said that turbo wont last as long as you wish it could and he also said if I get a super charger i better be prepared to see my fuel gauge drop. :grinno:

Your cousin is right.

But that wasn't part of your question. You asked Either or?

And the link I gave you to the G35 forum wasn't about the forum it was about the guy I linked to. If anyone knows everything their is to know about that car. it's him. You Should see his Vrod.

Ohh and I forgot to add, your g35 link doesnt work and the first link you posted was for Harley Davidson.

Either one is a ticket gatherer, if it's there, the temptation to use it is too. Especially if you use it as your daily driver. Been there, done that, only reason I don't have the tickets is that I was lucky enough to not get caught and smart enough to sell it before my luck ran out.

I would super charge your engine. I also have a g35 but im too old for that now. I had a old h22 accord with a t3 t4 hybrid turbo. A heavy beast like the g35 will do better as a daily driver with the sc. Now the track is a lil diff

For a daily driver G35, I would agree the supercharger is probably less trouble, but I'm not sure what you're cousin is talking about when he says a turbo won't last last as long. I've worked on tons of turbo cars, and the only problems that we ever had is if you completely lose oil pressure, or the one time an exhaust valve broke and a piece went through and trashed the turbine wheel. The turbo on my tow truck lasted 548,000 miles before it was replaced.
