Turbo vs. Super Charger!

Howdy,

Everything has been said. If you want a personal opinion, then I say that turbos are generally used for smaller engines, super chargers for larger displacement because they can be a drain on a smaller engine at times. You got 3.7L, I'd do supercharger.

I say supercharger, they are easier to set up and you get instant power. Turbos are fun but with big turbos you get lag and there is a ton of piping, especially with twins.

I've yet to see a fast supercharged VQ motor.

assumming you have a stock bottom end on your motor i would go turbo and wouldnt boost over 10 lbs on occasion and set your actuator about 5 for around town driving. still amazing gains an average of 10 hp per lb of boost.

turbo's are much more efficient but I still like the instant power of a s/c and the sound is much better to me but both have their place

If you can't choose than twin charge it! When I had my solstice I knew a guy who did it...pretty sweet
