Part of the reason it looks rough is because of all the limescale on his shell due to the minerals in the water and the fact he's had no place to completely dry off and bask. Correct this and it should help some.

Ok got You the last guy just sounded like he had no hope lol. But I'm glad I took him in, plan on nursing him back to health.

The way this is set up is not good for that turtle. In your other thread I said you shouldn't keep these together, main reason being you're gonna want a 50g for the turtle and a 50g for the fish. The turtle needs the tank either half or less full, as stated above, so it has space to rest and bask. Just get a 40g breeder for the time being for that turtle, some lights and a bunch of basking space and an internal or canister filter, and it'll be much much happier.

If you saw my earlier post then u seen what he came from, I'm sure he is MUCH happier now. Also, I will modify the tank for both fish and turtle. If he gets to big for this tank than he will be re homed.

I also read on that article they can handle deep water, as long as they have a proper basking spot.

Did u read my last post? I can't just get another tank. Like I said if he gets to big before I can he will be re homed. And I Dnt think yall realize what he came from to now. Before and after pic.
