Turtle Torture!!!

i think the point here is, people should refrain from making a quick buck out of these poor abnormally born babies. i mean i doubt if they screen the buyers if they could trully take care of these young ones. being blind, they need expert care. animals with disabilities should not be bred for the market! yes this might not be torture as of the moment, but noone can ensure the lives of these young turtles once theyre sold to people who are just intrested in the novelty (like most buyers), all the more here. this case could be much worse. to be honest with you guys, this disturbs me a bit and i just want to say i hope these guys hoping to make money out of these poor animals go to turtle hell! :swear: :swear: :swear: :SaiyanSmi :SaiyanSmi :SaiyanSmi

well said :clap

i kinda thik that its helping the turtle, cause if its in the wild, and has no eyes, its pretty much dead, but with a owner its fed, and safe

point being that turtles with the recessive genes are being breed on purpose to bring this trait out.

if it was in the wild the gene would most likely go away hence survival of the fittest...

in the wild, evolution would eliminate such mutations and would not let itself breed more eyeless turtles. survival of the fittest. these carzy people bred these poor babies on purpose for money. another point.....THEY SHOULD HAVE REFRAINED FROM BREEDING THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE! :swear:

people always want whats weird and unusual....

just depends on your taste....some people love only albino fish, others love odd patterned clown loaches, or even pikes!

lol

I do agree that I would not let that turtle breed.

they breed them in hopes of bringing out this bad gene...

their intentions are purely money based and not for the love of turtles!!!
