yeah thats a great start
but they also require proteins and calcium too
so once in a while give him some chicken wings(the ends) real small pieces along with the bones

Hmm I have the supposed Peninsula Cooter yours seems to look like the
Florida Cooter by the looks of the markings...

I'm no expert of course just based off of the looks of my turtle and the
pics of the Florida Cooter.

just the ends of the wing bones
as they require a good amount of calcium for their well being
and the pic in the previous page is awesome, he is ettling in well
only if i was near your place

i just bought a little one inch RES (red ear slider) to go with my bigger... four inch one.. and the bigger one is mean when it comes to feeding time. like... i feed them shrimp.. and once the little one was eating, he ripped on in half and my bigger one comes and bites his arm... i freaken out and quickly separated him... i put them back together and just feed them at different times.

i gave him to my aunt that loves turtles
he is in the best place 4 sure
she went and bought him a new tank and setup
