Um, wheres the land?!

....soon to be just a turtle tank :)

I keep turtles with fish. The trick is to get the turtles young. Keep them with a lot of fish that they could not eat and feed them other food items. You would also need a lot of filtration to keep the water clean. One big thing, Its easier if the turtle is a herb. It is hard to take a turtle that just eats meat to not eat a fish. Good Luck

At the moment I have a 1.5 inch female convict cichlid living with my 2.5 inch Stinkpot. He doesn't care about the fish at all and what's funny is that the convict follows him around and steals food out of his mouth. It's still a work in progress. I keep the turtle well fed. I have a good filtration system so I might try a rubber lip pleco soon. I have plenty of cave work for one to hide in.

Never kept turtles but that tank/enclosure rocks!

i put a spotted pleco in with my turttle that is 3" and it died a couple weeks later the water was to toxic for him and i was changing the water all the time.

Hmmmm.....interesting. I change about 25% of the water everyday and it's sparkling clean. I'm not going to lie to you though, I haven't tested it in weeks. I will do that first before I buy a pleco. The convict cichlid I have in there is doing great, but they are a very hardy species.
