Nope, they're in the sub phylum chelicerata (named for the pair of chelicerae that they feed with), not the sub phylum crustacea. Both fall under the phylum arthropod, so that's my curve ball.

Anyway, back to the current animal... We're looking for a non bony fish that lives in both salt and fresh water that is not commercially harvested/farmed as human food and cannot live in an aquarium.

At maturity, is the adult length greater than three feet?
 
I want to say crocodile.

Both fresh and saltwater, predator, bigger than 3 ft, needs more than 150 gallons.
