To all of the posters - thanks for the info. Like I said in the arowana forum, I'm new to this, so all the advice/criticism is welcome and appreciated. I was asking a higher price because 1) our aquarium cleaner told me "you could probably get a couple hundred bucks each for them, 6" babies go for $50"(I have no idea) and 2) I wanted to make sure they go to a home that can afford the upkeep on them. But if I've been misguided on the market price, that's good to know. I'll take any offer to the official owner.

i want one but i have a small tank packed with fishies. ill pick one up from you when i get permission to swap my 60 for 120-130g

as mentioned, leave the guy alone. his silvers are gorgeous. maybe others don't care much about they're fish and let them go for free but to some its hard to part with them. and putting hundreds of dollars of food in the mouths of these fish doesn't make anyone wanna "give" them away. all they want is some of the food money back to help feed his other fish.

nice aros bro, goodluck with ur sale

Very hostile people. I disagree on derailing someone ad because of other people ad. If anyone like to suggest something to him/her. Just PM them :)

thats cute how you are an expert with the the little icons.

Ok lets stop guys, those silvers are beautiful and the owner can ask any price he wants. One mans trash is another treasure. Maybe this person really loves these fish and wants them to go to somebody who can afford a fish at this price to show him they can afford his lifestyle. I just paid more than $15 for my 5" aro. Please tell me where you are getting yours at that price. Can you also count in the cost of shipping too?? People who just like to crit. peoples prices are doing nothing helpful to selling the fish. THE FISH NEED A BIGGER HOME,as he stated. If you waste your time and his arguing over a price they are never going to find a new home.

Let the guy sell his fish for what ever price he wants. If he was closer I would pay around a hundred if he would take the offer.

Here is a school lesson:

O.B.O = or best offer, means offer don't flame.

Very nice arrow's i wish that 5" ers were as cheap as $15 over in the uk from a shop they are more like £50 ($100) a 16" would probibly set you back £100+ ($200+) or more.
Good luck with the sale.

Dude red27, dont listen to the other guys, you should def try the LFS in your area.. actually i would recommend seeking out Chinese aquarium stores, there will def be owners who are interested in buying them...

Try some Fish stores in the Alhambra/San Gabriel/Rosemead area.. theres a lot of chinese & viet there.. and they really dig Silver arowanas..
