Two breeding projects in one tank?

Can i have two breeding project in one tank? I want to breed something with my breeding pair of Australian Crayfish. The tank is a 60 gallon. i am hoping to breed some of cichlids with them(not convicts)

Nope, cichlids would be too aggressive while breeding and kill the crayfish and make the crayfish dinner.

most cichlids makes a dinner out of crays, esp the ones thats molting or small enough to fit in their mouths.

i once bred convicts and unexpectedly my blood parrots bred at he same timeand one inside the pot and one outside the pot...it didnt work out to wel they ate each others babies.

Try guppies.

why not use a divider

I think breeding Guppies, Platies, and Danios in the same tank would work out well. Just be sure to give enough cover for the eggs/fry.
