Can i have two breeding project in one tank? I want to breed something with my breeding pair of Australian Crayfish. The tank is a 60 gallon. i am hoping to breed some of cichlids with them(not convicts)
paracyprichromis will not bother them nor will steatocranius species such as irveni or buffalo heads and such and you could put brichardi or bourglei or lelupi for that matter just watch the size of cichlid you put in it :headbang2

also marlei and regani i have electric blue crayfish with my tangs and it works out well jsut no shell dwellers as i made that mistake:cry:

You can't breed two fish in one tank unless you have a divider.

that is incorrect, I've bred a few fish together in the same tank successfully, most recently with 'Lamprologus' occelatus and 'L.' multifasciatus.

u can breed livebearers in large enough tank wth bristlenose plecos

Well I know, I breed my Zebra Danios with my Black Skirt Tetras, but during spawning and mating, ALL fish CAN become AGGRESSIVE!

Reason why one should be using a reasonably well-sized tank to do this.

BTW, you can't breed cichlids with anything other than the same species.

Thats the reason I said " You can't breed two fish in one tank unless you have a divider."

Try nothing else anything to small will become a meal for the crays and anything to big will make a meal from the crays. Not too mention the crayfish larvae will make excellent packaged protien for any fish and the same goes for baby fish for the crays
