Two breeding projects in one tank?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
general rule of thumb: similar temperament and similar species will do fine

cichlids are all good with sufficient space

inverts usually get along fine with/without sufficient space

most non aggressive species will be fine together

Thats the reason I said " You can't breed two fish in one tank unless you have a divider."

This applies mostly to cichlids.

As far as I know; LBTCs, ELTCs, Tetras, and small suckermouth catfish (Corys, etc.) could be bred together provided you have the space and appropriate conditions/hiding places for the fry.
