We will miss all of them terribly. It seemed so strange not to feed them last night. My son will REALLY miss that Oscar pair! It was so hard for him yesterday when he had to net them out and watch them leave him. As I told you he raised them both from tiny babies. But it helps so very much to know that they are with you who will not only take great care of them, but love them as well.
We've never seen them flare at anyone before! LOL! They are just scared. Afterall, they are used to but one face feeding them every day for 4 years now. Give them time, and they'll love you just the same as they've loved him. I told you, he has hand fed that white oscar since she was a baby. And he's always had his hand in the tank petting her. She loved it.
Hello Matt;
That's awesome that you got Joni's oscars.She gave me a foot long pleco.They really took great care of thier fish.
I have done alot of fishing in the Amazon and caught some huge oscars twice the size of the one's in your tank but,everything get huge in the jungles of South America.
nothing is going in with the oscars, I'm adding 2 wet/dry filters to there tank, than will be removing all the filters and just leaving the 2 wet/drys on it. So the oscars are gona be a in a over filtered 240gallon tank . I'm gona spend all the money I got to make these oscars grow and be happy.
