How are your new babies doing? They are so cute when they are little. I got Barney when he was all grown up. I wish I could get some little ones but I am out of tank space. maybe I can clean out my little stash it room, It has a concrete floor. Anyway My eel decided to go filter swimming and now he is not doing too well. He is Barney's buddy so I will not sleep much tonight. The two of them sleep together and chase each other playing tag. They look so happy and you can tell it is a game and nothing mean or territorial . I hope he makes it. i will be watching and Praying.

They are doing great. Very healthy and happy so far. no deaths. Sorry to hear about barny buddy the eel. Hope he does ok. i dont know anything about eels to help you out. just that a nice quiet place to recuperate is usually good for a injured fish , that and watch out for secondary infections.

Can anyone tell me what type of Frontosa I have. He was a rescue and is doing very well. We call him Barney, he is 8" and so good natured. He shares an 85 gal tank with a Black-Banded Leporinus that is 13" and an 11" Tire Track Eel.

Check his Passport! :ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:

Yeah, makes sense. He is "blue" like most aliens in national inquirer. He must use the hump on his forehead for mind control.:ROFL:

hmmm..very interesting, i can usually tell at a glance but this is a tuffy. perhaps cypho gibberosa kalolo?
