types of fish for a small pond?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
weather loaches sound great, but are they legal in the US?

and here is a new photo for you guys:

The far right of the pond is deeper than the rest of it. Its about 19" deep as opposed to 16" like the rest. I took out the plant on the right (it can be seen in the earlier pictures) and expanded the pond all the way to the brick path. I am very happy with it so far (except for the leak), and the pond it about 3x its original size.
I would have taken more pictures but it started to pour on my right as I got out there. is raining really bad right now.

Lookin' GOOOD!

Check http://www.dfw.state.or.us/ for restricted or prohibited fish in your area.

And don't think of it as rain...think of it as free water (we could sure use some here right now!)

At least you have some water in the liner so it won't float up.

Keep it going and keep us posted,

I finished the pond today. I went out and bought a filter and pump and some stuff to patch the hole. It took a while to biuld the water fall with all the rocks but it was worth it. Hope you guys like how it looks, now I just got to find some fish to put in it.
