I have heard nothing about it.Interesting though,I wouldn't imagine the Chinese government putting up with too much from them before doing something about it.....obviously now would not be a good time for any retaliatory actions.

It's pretty obvious US is trying to encircle China. Beginning from giving nuclear know how to Vietnam(not even requiring them to promise not developing nukes) to vigorously state that US is a pacific nation.

The signs are pretty plain for people who follow these things.

guess its a good thing we have you here to apprise us of such developments in that area.

considering CHINA HOLDS billions(trillions?) in american stock .. it only seems fair to make em a little nervous

Actually, I would think that's a reason not to make them nervous. Image if China suddenly demanded all their money back.

they wouldn't get it .. and it's too splintered anyway,,, it's not anywhere near in one sport or available...but it is a sobering thought that they could do a # on our economy .. I still like the idea of putting the screws to em ,,, it might keep em honest

The relationship between US and China is not that simple. In essence, china is lending US money so it can keep its work force employed. In return, US can keep its inflation low.

The effect of US printing money makes debt holders unhappy because that makes the debt worth less and less. Don't be too happy though, the number one debt holder is not China, it is the US public.

As for the Chinese trade, most parties benefit; the only loser is the traditional US manufacturing segment, where being American worker really doesn't really have any advantages; but that has trended that way for a long time now, if it was not China, it would be someone else. Those jobs are not coming back.
