u.f.o fish? (I.d PLEASE)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Also 1 power head wont work for them either they need really fast flowing waters it needs to be like a stream in the tank I would suggest 2 power heads depending on the size of the tank more would be required with a bigger tank they feed on algae as well so you need to let a lot of algae grow in your tank

On Singapore they call it the china sucker.it's sone how like a placo but it does need a gd glow of water and it nv grow more than 3inches.enjoy it.it's beautiful fish.some drift wood or lava rock will do gd hiding places for them cheers!!

i have no say on the algae the tank is in front of the door and its open all the time so i have algae all the time already :(

The round bodied goldfish would probably get blown around in the stream too much.

However, if you've got a spare 20 long, that'd be perfect. Set up some powerheads blowing from one side to the other...

i wish i had enough room for a 20 i live in an apt. my limit will be 4 tanks my moms, my poly grow out and feeder tank and the one im getting next week. well five if you count my t's tank

Well if you have a lot of algae already that is perfect and don't do lava rock with the chinese hillstream fish they need flat surfaces the rough edges and points on the lava rock can hurt these fish andfor tank mates to go along with them I would suggest fish that live in fast flowing waters as well gold fish will be pushed around to much due to the body shape... some species of nano fish in the shri lanka region and most fish from asia that aren't big work out the best with them
