U.S.F.W. proposes bill to prohibit all members of Python, Boa & Eunectes genera

But if there is an animal you want in a different state... then you can't have it... why would anyone want that to happen!

To get a hunting license you have to take a test. Its a simple test, but it proves you're not a complete r-tard.

Honestly, I feel keeping all animals should require a license... Fish (Salt and Fresh) herps, arachnids... everything.

Look at any corner of the world, at any type of animal, and there will be something not receiving good care.

Although, there are ways around everything.

This all goes back to the real issue of people caught up in the romance of getting a large constrictor and when that said constrictor gets to an un managible age and size for john /jane q layman .Instead of trying to find a responsible person or place to donate his animal he/she tosses it out the back door. From what I read this impact is to the everglades so this idot just releced an alien species in to a native area where it can survive and desimate the native populations . I disagree on banning all python and boa and constrictor species but I do agree on the need for permitting on the larger species to keep john/jane q idot from getting one.

LOL, oh man, do I sometimes wish I could make people to take a fish keeping test before selling them stuff :)

I know, its not practical but it would at least make some animals lives better.

you have got to be kidding me....
if this goes through then it will kill some businesses here in the US.
but seriously, if it's considered to be by state and region, then it'll be alright
but if federal... then it's going wayyyyy to far.

Oh I agree...if you can't properly describe how to clean your tank...No Fish for You!

You obviously have never seen the likes of hunters from my neck of the woods. I live in the midwest. Grew up in redneck country. A hunting license doesnt mean anything. Anyone can pass it and roam the woods "hunting". Accidents are common throughout the country. As far as licensing snakes. I'd prefer they not do it, but it would probably be the closest they would come to a compromise. Licensing and permits don't stop people from doing things they want to do.
