I saw the picture of the one colored in ich... So sad (and weird/gross, never seen ich like that before).

The smaller ones are actually growing pretty quickly. I would say a little under an inch a month.

Really? Ive heard uarau were horrendously slow growers. Interesting... I like them but always turned away due to that. Wouldnt have a group in a 75 anyways though

Neither species of Uaru are slow growers. My pandas were at 6 - 7" in about five months, same with my amphiacanthoides. Lots of water changes and lots of good food including veggies. I have seen a lot of stunted Uaru out there and my guess is poor water quality.

Hmmm. Inlearned that from people on other forums, so i guess they were wrong... It was that info which stopped me from looking into them further...
