nobody has claimed more..........

how do these differ from Uaru amphiacanthoides

i kept the uaru.f with uaru.a for a short time the uaru.a started pecking at the rays eyes

the uaru.f would always beat up the uaru.a the uaru.f are much more aggressive than uaru.a

they are not that hard to keep you just have to keep your water very good bring the ph up slow and keep the temp at 86-88

they eat everything it was hard to get food to the rays and aro they used to rob meal worms from the aro

they are a great fish and i would recomend them to anyone i sold them because i was made a offer i chouldnt refuse and as they are so rare i thought it best to sell them to someone whos main goal was to breed them

Just got some Uaru A. the other day. Never seen the Uaru F. for sale, just pictures. The LFS owner compared them to Discus, wimpy and delicate. I have mine with my Geo Tapajos. Fine so far.

well they are nothing like discus much more aggressive :D

they may not be as good when kept in small groups but with 6 or more they are very brave

i had 2 small ones about 3inch that i sold to dixon even they were strong

i know they are expencive but once you get them stable and used to normal tap water they are fairly hardy

I know this thread is 2 years old but I have been looking for pandas for a while now with no luck. Anyone know where I could order these at?

They appear on vendor lists a couple of times a year you have to hit it right. Jeff Rapps from Tangiled Up in Cichlids gets them in but this isn't the season fro them. Go to the vendor form and message him about them he'll let you know when they are available.
