It could be a panda on the right, I've just never seen an extremely small one. How large are these fish? Maybe the panda fry look like that and then turn grey later.

Here are what my 2" panda juveniles looked like when I got them:

I've never seen a panda look like that. They are always covered in tiny spots and slowly develope the bars on there tail and across there eyes as they mature. They actually look very similiar to amph when tiny.

Good looking fish Ryan, to bad they didn't work out.

The more I look at your picture, the more I think the one on the right is a panda, just a really young one. The fish should turn darker as it grows and will develop white spots, then it will stay that way until 6" or so when the dots disappear and the black markings get darker, turning into adult coloration.

Yes, definitely a Panda. Nice find, OP.

They are 4-5 cm and came from thailand.

So which one is the panda ?

Koko,
Neither are the panda waroo. Both of those are amphiacanthoides. Most people assume that all juvenile amphs have a blackish body with white or silver spotting. Not true. Here is a pair of amphs with a batch of fry that have the vertical stripes.
Sorry to maybe disappoint, but amphs are really great fish and I hope they do well for you!

I disagree with everything said here. Juv amphs dont have a blackish body, they're brown, not black at all. The picture here of the juv amphs are spotted with white speckles just as they should be. And yes, the one on the right in the OP's picture is definitely a Panda.

OP, be sure to check in after a few months and let us know who is right.

This is 100% inaccurate. ALL Uaru Amph juvs have the brown body and white spots. The picture that Cichlidgeek has provided is just of poor quality and it's hard to see because the white spots are so close together that they appear to be stripes. They're not. I've dealt with Uaru Amph for 15 + yrs and the juvs DO NOT have stripes.

I am pretty sure I know the differences ;)
