I am quite ashamed to report that my multis are bloating up and dieing off one by one. I have lost all my big females and now a big male. There seems to be nothing that I can do to stop it. I had 9 of them, now down to 4.

..........quite frustrating to say the very least. Maybe I jumped a bit too far before I looked. They are freshly collected wild fish, but man I thought I was better than this.

Oh snap!!! I'm super sorry to hear that! I hope you never fed them black worms. For some reason they can be pike killers especially. :(

Perhaps you should treat the other four for internal parasites asap? Maybe get some Clout too. Seriously sorry about this. Its a risk you take when buying wild fish though, it always makes me nervous. :(

Hope the other four pull through for you and everything is alright. Four is better than none!
 
Now all of them are dead. I suck. Moving on......


I did just get a nice pair of marms, though. So the sting of losing 2K worth of pikes has been neutralized a little.
 
Oh no!!!! I am soo sorry man! That really really sucks bad. :( If it makes you feel any better it has taken me three times to actually finally be able to keep Crenicichla sp. 'atabapo II'. Each time I've tried I always lost them. Either to moving or bloat. I HATE losing pikes! :( Hang in there.

Did you get the marms from Don here in Missouri? He mentioned you were wanting his pair, but didn't know how to get them to you. Hope you didn't come here and get them and then not stop and see me! LoL! I would be slightly grumpy then!

Yes, they are Don's pair. Doing well, looking good. He shipped them to me. Did a great job, too!!

I have my group of adult cobra pike, as well as the three Atabapo IIs, and a single female celido....and of course the marms. Plenty to keep me busy for now.

Nice!!! Get some updated shots of those Rio Tapajos marms will ya?! I'd love to see some more color on them. When Don sent me pictures they weren't really colored up that well. Heres your chance to get me to kick myself for not getting them! LoL! Congrats on getting them though! They are definitely going to be some gorgeous pikes!

Did you pick up his lents as well? They are freaking hott! Bummer they appear to be both male though. :(

No. I only got the pair of marms.
All that's left now is the pair of marmorata and my cobra pikes. All else has been traded out to make room.
