I say BJ via UD or tko in the fourth

punch stats: BJ landed 150, Diego landed 8 with 27 failed takedown attempts. BJ completely shut him down
it happened almost like I called it. Diego had nothing to offer him. a lot of people was saying how dumb of Diego to keep trying to take it to the ground. The dude had no other options! either clinch and try for take down or keep blocking BJ's punches with his face. Penn's stand up is too far ahead of the whole lightweight division. on a scale of 1-10, Penn is like a 10 while the whole division is roughly a 6 or 7 at best. I felt like Kenny was #1 only behind BJ and we saw what happened there. The only guys I think may get the next shot is Gray if he beats Diaz and Frankie Edgar. But they will fall like the rest of them. I give Gray a better chance only for being a stronger wrestler.
Penn will clean up the division and try for another run at GSP with his new found cardio. The "BJ has no cardio" thing is dead and gone as far as I'm concerned.
